Job Description
Delhi Scholars International School in Faridabad is looking for an enthusiastic PRT English Teacher to join their vibrant school community. Responsibilities
Teach English to students in the Primary section, covering grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive classroom culture.
Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher interactions to strengthen community engagement. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and overall academic performance.
Ensure adherence to school policies regarding discipline, safety, and professional conduct. Assist in organizing school functions, workshops, or cultural programs where English proficiency is emphasized. Keep up-to-date with educational trends and teaching innovations to continuously improve classroom practices.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Possess a valid TET or CTET certificate, though not mandatory for this position. Demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Experience working with young learners or teaching English at the primary level is highly desirable.
Showcase creativity in lesson design and a commitment to fostering a love for language among students. Be comfortable working in a multicultural environment and adaptable to the school’s academic calendar. Familiarity with digital tools for education is a plus but not essential.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
