Maintain a well-stocked and functional biology lab, ensuring safety protocols are followed for all experiments and demonstrations.
Participate in school events, including science fairs, inter-house competitions, and guest lectures, to foster a passion for science among students. Stay updated with research advancements in zoology and incorporate relevant findings into classroom teaching. Support students with special needs by adapting teaching methods to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
Qualifications
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field from a recognized university. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for teaching positions in schools. A valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a science stream. Experience in designing and implementing innovative teaching methods, especially in biology or life sciences, is highly valued. Familiarity with school curriculum frameworks and assessment techniques is essential for this position.
Salary and Employment Details
