Role Introduction
Heritage Academy | Murshidabad invites a dedicated PRT Art And Craft Teacher to enrich the creative learning experience of its students. This full‑time position focuses on nurturing artistic skills and cultural appreciation among young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Mentor students in various mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and traditional crafts.
- Organise and supervise classroom projects, exhibitions, and inter‑school art competitions.
- Maintain a safe and inspiring studio environment, ensuring all materials and tools are properly stored.
- Assess student progress through portfolio reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate art activities into interdisciplinary projects.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must hold a graduate degree and possess a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Art and Craft. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Location
The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month and is based in Murshidabad, West Bengal.
