PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Dipayan Pathsala, Beldanga I, Murshidabad

Supervising hands-on craft projects, including paper crafts, textile work, and simple wood or clay modeling. Assisting students with materials and tools while guiding them through step-by-step processes.
Encouraging cultural and traditional art forms, such as block printing, beadwork, or folk art, to connect students with regional heritage. Organizing art exhibitions or workshops to showcase student work and celebrate creativity.
Assessing students’ progress through observations, portfolios, and periodic evaluations, while providing constructive feedback. Ensuring the art room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for smooth operations.
Qualifications and experience:
A graduate degree in any discipline is required, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for teaching at this level. A Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Three years of teaching experience, preferably in primary education or a similar setting, is essential. Experience with art and craft pedagogy, including lesson planning and student engagement, will be highly valued. Familiarity with West Bengal’s school curriculum and educational standards is beneficial.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is full-time and based in Beldanga I, Murshidabad, in the school’s campus.
