Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Naba Prabha Shishu Angan, Malda
Teaching Social Science at Naba Prabha Shishu Angan in Malda requires enthusiasm for shaping young minds with engaging lessons. As a PRT, you’ll deliver foundational knowledge in history, geography, and civics to students in the early education phase. Your role is to create a stimulating learning environment where curiosity about the world around them grows naturally.
The classroom will be your space to introduce key concepts like democracy, cultural diversity, and basic human geography. You’ll adapt teaching methods to match the developmental stages of young learners, ensuring concepts are accessible and fun. Experience in elementary education or child psychology would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
Your monthly salary will be between Rs.10,000 and Rs.17,000, paid on a consistent basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a lasting impact on students’ understanding of social studies.
Graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree are required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it would strengthen your application. You’ll work alongside experienced educators to refine teaching strategies and maintain high standards in curriculum delivery.
Collaboration with parents and school management is key—you’ll participate in planning sessions and community engagement activities. The school values creativity and patience, so a calm, dedicated approach will help students grasp even complex topics through simple, interactive lessons.
This position offers a chance to build a strong foundation in Social Science education while contributing to Naba Prabha Shishu Angan’s mission of holistic development. Your role will focus on making history and geography relatable, fostering a lifelong love for learning.
