Role Summary
Narayana School Barasat invites fresh B.Ed graduates to apply for the TGT Social Science Teacher position in Beleghata, Kolkata. What You Will Do
Plan and conduct Social Science lessons for classes VI to VIII, covering history, geography, and civics. Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with Narayana School Barasat’s curriculum and assessment schedules. Receive continuous training and mentorship from senior educators during the first two years. Conduct regular formative assessments and provide feedback to students on their progress. Organize subject-specific activities such as model-making, debates, and quiz competitions. Collaborate with the Social Science department to develop teaching resources and worksheets. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and share student progress reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or related field with minimum 50% marks required. B.Ed degree is mandatory; fresh B.Ed graduates are welcome to apply. D.El.Ed candidates with Social Science specialization may also be considered. TET or CTET appearing candidates will receive preference during shortlisting.
