About This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and committed PRT Science Teacher to join our team at Narayana School Barasat. As a PRT Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to our students and contributing to the overall academic success of our school. Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Science to classes of students, using a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage and motivate them.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and reports, and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum.
- Mark and provide feedback on students' work, and contribute to the assessment of their progress.
- Attend staff meetings, team planning sessions, and other meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide pastoral care and support for students, and contribute to the school's pastoral system.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders, and respond to their queries and concerns.
- Contribute to the school's community engagement and outreach activities.
- Maintain accurate records and attend to administrative tasks as required.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification, and a strong commitment to teaching and learning. Experience as a PRT Science Teacher is essential, and a good understanding of the Science curriculum would be an advantage. You will also need to be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
