The TGT English Teacher at South Point Institute will design and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring interactive and culturally relevant teaching methods. The teacher will also assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects, adapting teaching strategies based on feedback. Participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and curriculum reviews will be part of the role. Additionally, the teacher will collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate English skills across the curriculum, reinforcing language learning in a cohesive educational experience.
A strong foundation in English literature, grammar, and pedagogy is essential. The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in English or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in English or a similar subject, will be highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be considered favorably. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, along with full-time employment at South Point Institute in Hooghly.
