PRT Physical Education Teacher Position at Mount Zion Academy, Kalimpong
Mount Zion Academy in Kalimpong seeks a dedicated PRT Physical Education Teacher to join their team in Darjeeling Pulbazar. This role focuses on delivering structured physical education across primary classes, ensuring students develop essential motor skills, teamwork, and discipline through engaging activities. The teacher will design and lead daily PE sessions, including games, sports drills, and outdoor exercises tailored to age-appropriate learning objectives.
Daily responsibilities include organizing morning and afternoon PE classes, monitoring student participation, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during activities. The teacher will also assist in assessing students’ physical abilities through simple evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Collaboration with other teachers to integrate PE into broader curriculum goals is part of the role.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience in physical education or related subjects. The monthly salary for this position is Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 22,000.
