PRT Music Teacher Job in Darjeeling, West Bengal | School Recruitment
St Roberts High School, Darjeeling Pulbazar is looking for a full‑time Primary Teacher (PRT) to teach Music to classes I‑V. The role involves nurturing young learners’ musical abilities while integrating basic theory and practice.
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate Music lessons that cover singing, rhythm, simple instruments and appreciation.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support each child’s progress.
- Organise and supervise school concerts, cultural events and classroom performances.
- Maintain classroom discipline, attendance records and timely submission of lesson plans.
- Collaborate with senior faculty to align Music curriculum with overall academic goals.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student development and address concerns.
A graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Minimum three years of experience teaching Music at the primary level is required.
Salary is Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month and the posting is based in Darjeeling Pulbazar, Darjeeling, West Bengal.
