Sneha Doon Academy in Dehradun seeks a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to inspire young minds through creative movement and arts education. This full-time role focuses on shaping students’ artistic skills while fostering discipline and confidence through structured dance programs.
Core Responsibilities
Teach fundamental dance techniques, including ballet, contemporary, and folk styles, to students in grades 1 to 8. Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Maintain a safe and encouraging environment for students to explore dance while adhering to academic and safety protocols.
Additional Duties
Assist in organizing school events, performances, and cultural festivals featuring dance performances. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects, such as storytelling or health education. Occasionally assist in grading dance-related assignments and providing constructive feedback to students.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a graduate degree in dance or related field. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Experience in dance pedagogy or training is highly valued.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.13,000 to Rs.22,000, depending on qualifications and performance. Benefits may include professional development opportunities and support for extracurricular activities.
