PGT Business Studies Teacher Position at Sneha Doon Academy, Dehradun

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering key topics like accounting, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Collaborate with the academic team to integrate business studies into interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities. Represent the subject at parent-teacher meetings and school events, fostering a culture of business awareness.
Supporting Duties:
Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, case studies, and digital tools. Attend faculty meetings and workshops to stay updated on curriculum trends and teaching best practices. Supervise student group work and presentations to ensure academic rigor and professionalism. Assist in organizing school events like business simulations, guest lectures, or competitions related to commerce.
Qualifications and Experience:
A postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce, or a related field is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching at this level. Two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is highly preferred. Proficiency in teaching methods and a strong command of English are required. Knowledge of CBSE or Uttarakhand Board syllabus for Class 11 and 12 is beneficial.
