Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Delhi Public School, Deoband
Teach Social Science subjects—history, geography, political science, and economics—to classes 6 to 8 students in a well-structured curriculum. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with CBSE syllabus while fostering critical thinking and analytical skills. Conduct interactive classroom sessions, including discussions, projects, and field trips, to make learning practical and relatable.
Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including weekly tests, assignments, and periodic exams. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate feedback to parents regularly. Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to refine teaching methods and address curriculum gaps.
Ensure classroom management is disciplined, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. Prepare students for board exams by focusing on key concepts and past exam patterns. Represent Delhi Public School in school events related to Social Science, such as fairs or competitions.
Hold a graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in Social Science is mandatory. Salary offered is Rs.17,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.
