PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Delhi Public School, Deoband
Delhi Public School in Deoband seeks a dedicated PRT (Pupil Teacher) for the Art and Craft subject to join its vibrant school community. This role focuses on inspiring creativity, fostering hands-on learning, and nurturing artistic expression in students through engaging art and craft activities. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for hands-on projects, a passion for visual arts, and a commitment to shaping young minds creatively.
Plan and conduct daily Art and Craft lessons, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum while encouraging individual creativity. Design and implement age-appropriate projects that develop fine motor skills, problem-solving, and cultural awareness. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art and craft activities into broader classroom themes, enhancing interdisciplinary learning.
Prepare lesson plans that incorporate a mix of traditional and modern art techniques, including pottery, painting, crafting, and digital art basics. Maintain a well-stocked art room with necessary materials, ensuring safety and accessibility for all students. Assess student progress through observations, project evaluations, and participation in school-wide art exhibitions.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for this role. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly valued. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in an elementary school setting, is preferred. A strong foundation in art principles, craft techniques, and child psychology will be beneficial.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.17,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to contribute to Delhi Public School’s dynamic educational environment in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh.
