Job Description
PRT Science Teacher – Delhi Public International School, Sikohabad, Firozabad
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Primary Grades (I‑V) in line with the school curriculum. Conduct practical demonstrations, experiments and project work to foster curiosity. Assess student progress through observations, assignments and periodic tests, and provide feedback to parents.
Classroom Management
Maintain a safe, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage participation, address behavioural issues promptly and promote collaborative learning among students.
Professional Development
Participate in school meetings, staff development programmes and parent‑teacher interactions. Stay updated with latest Science teaching methodologies and integrate appropriate resources.
Requirements
Graduate degree in Science or related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting. TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory. Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
Salary
Rs.16,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
