PGT Mathematics Teacher Position at Vidyamandir Classes, Aligarh
Vidyamandir Classes in Aligarh seeks a dedicated PGT Mathematics Teacher to lead high school mathematics education. This role involves shaping students’ analytical skills through engaging classroom instruction, curriculum development, and mentorship. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured mathematics lessons tailored to students’ varying ability levels. Engage with students through interactive problem-solving sessions, ensuring clarity on core concepts. Prepare daily lesson plans incorporating real-world applications of mathematics. Maintain organized classroom resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital tools.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assess student progress through periodic tests, quizzes, and assignments to identify strengths and areas needing improvement. Collaborate with the mathematics faculty to refine teaching strategies and align with Vidyamandir Classes’ academic standards. Attend departmental meetings to discuss curriculum updates and pedagogical best practices. Support students in extracurricular math competitions or enrichment programs.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in term-end evaluations to review student performance data and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and address academic concerns. Contribute to school-wide mathematics workshops or training sessions for new faculty members.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in high school mathematics. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior certification in teaching mathematics is advantageous. Strong command of the English language for effective communication with students and parents is essential.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.45,000 to Rs.55,000, along with the opportunity to work in Aligarh’s dynamic educational landscape. The role is full-time, with a focus on fostering academic excellence in mathematics education.
