Teaching Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. Incorporate age-appropriate activities like team sports, individual drills, and outdoor games to promote physical fitness and teamwork. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring compliance with school safety protocols.
Planning and Development
Prepare lesson plans that balance skill development, game strategies, and health benefits. Collaborate with the school’s sports coordinator to integrate physical education into broader extracurricular activities. Stay updated on emerging trends in sports science and adaptive physical education techniques.
Student Support and Engagement
Act as a mentor to students, encouraging participation in sports clubs and inter-house competitions. Provide constructive feedback on performance and encourage a growth mindset in physical activities. Assess students’ progress through continuous evaluations, including participation records and skill-based tests.
Coordination and Collaboration
Work closely with the principal and other teachers to align physical education with academic goals. Assist in organizing school events like sports days, fitness challenges, and health awareness campaigns. Represent the school in local sports federations or community fitness programs when needed.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month, with a focus on shaping well-rounded, active learners in a vibrant educational setting. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in physical education is required.
