Dips School | Rayya is looking for a full‑time PGT Zoology Teacher to join its faculty in Amritsar 1, Punjab. The role involves delivering engaging zoology lessons to senior secondary students and contributing to the school’s academic excellence.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and ensure each class meets the set learning objectives.
Align instructional activities with the overall curriculum framework, maintaining coherence across topics and grades.
Design formative and summative assessments that accurately gauge student understanding and skills in zoology.
Track and analyse student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention strategies to support improvement.
Collaborate with department colleagues to share resources, discuss pedagogical approaches, and participate in faculty meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Zoology or a related science discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential; TET/CTET certification is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school setting.
Demonstrated ability to create effective assessment tools and maintain comprehensive student records.
Skills
Strong command of zoological concepts and the ability to simplify complex topics.
Proficiency in using digital tools for lesson planning and student evaluation.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

Salary
Rs.40,000 – Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
