TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Gautam Budha International School in Puri
Gautam Budha International School in Puri seeks a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop active, healthy students through engaging sports and fitness programs. Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily physical education classes, ensuring age-appropriate activities that promote fitness, coordination, and sportsmanship. Design and implement extracurricular sports programs, including team games, individual sports, and fitness challenges, tailored to student interests and developmental needs.
Instruct students in fundamental sports techniques, rules, and safety protocols while maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment. Collaborate with school administrators to organize inter-house competitions, school events, and outdoor activities, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
Monitor student participation, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth in physical abilities. Maintain organized records of student performance, attendance, and participation in physical education programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Possession of a TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, along with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, student-centered learning environment in Puri, Odisha.
