PRT (Practicing Teacher) Position for EVS in SBD International School, Bhadrak
We are seeking a dedicated PRT to teach Environmental Studies (EVS) in our school’s lower and upper primary sections. This role focuses on designing engaging, hands-on learning experiences that align with curriculum standards while fostering students’ ecological awareness and practical skills. You’ll plan and conduct field trips, organize classroom projects, and collaborate with teachers to integrate real-world applications of EVS concepts.
Your daily responsibilities include lesson planning for EVS topics such as biodiversity, waste management, and climate change, ensuring age-appropriate and interactive teaching methods. You’ll assess student understanding through projects, quizzes, and observations, while also preparing students for state-level assessments. Ensuring classroom safety, maintaining learning materials, and assisting in school events related to environmental education are also part of the role.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of teaching experience in EVS or related subjects. A graduate degree in a relevant field is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an advantage. Strong communication skills, creativity in lesson delivery, and a passion for environmental education are essential.
