Teaching Responsibilities
Plan and deliver dance lessons covering classical, folk, and contemporary styles. Ensure students develop proper technique, rhythm, and expression through structured sessions. Adapt teaching methods to engage students of varying skill levels.
Planning and Curriculum
Design age-appropriate dance programs that integrate with the school’s academic and extracurricular goals. Collaborate with the arts department to integrate dance into school events and performances.
Student Support and Engagement
Encourage a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore dance. Address individual needs, including those with varying abilities, through supportive feedback and guidance.
Coordination with School Activities
Assist in organizing dance performances, competitions, and cultural festivals. Work closely with other teachers to ensure smooth integration of dance into school programs and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Salary
A graduate degree with a focus on dance or related arts is essential. Three years of teaching experience is preferred, though not mandatory. The salary range for this role is Rs.16,000 to Rs.33,000 per month. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but is highly valued.
