- Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to curriculum review, and stay updated on latest PRT methodologies.
- Mentor junior staff and interns, providing guidance on teaching techniques and student welfare.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a college setting.
- NET/SET certification is mandatory; a Ph.D. is preferred.
- Strong command of UGC pay scales for PRT faculty, with awareness of promotion pathways.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct physical training sessions, organize sports events, and manage student athletes.
Research Expectations
- Engage in applied research related to sports performance, injury prevention, or athletic coaching, aligning with UGC guidelines.
- Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals or present at national conferences, contributing to the college’s research profile.
