Scope of the Role
The role covers all aspects of physical education for primary and secondary classes, including the coordination of school sports events, inter‑school tournaments, and health‑promotion initiatives. The teacher collaborates with other faculty to integrate physical activities into the broader curriculum and supports the development of a healthy, active school culture.

Core Academic Duties
- Plan and deliver structured PE lessons aligned with the state curriculum.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for various sports and fitness exercises.
- Monitor student participation and progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain equipment, arrange sports facilities, and manage logistics for field days and competitions.

Assessment and Planning Duties
- Conduct periodic skill assessments and record performance data.
- Prepare lesson plans and activity schedules that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Evaluate student attendance and engagement, reporting trends to the school administration.

Qualification and Experience
Graduate degree required; B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for teaching positions. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting as a physical education teacher. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but valued.
