Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Sgd Modern School, Nirsa, Dhanbad
Teach Social Science subjects to classes IX and X students in a dynamic learning environment. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the Jharkhand curriculum while ensuring comprehensive coverage of history, geography, economics, and political science.
Plan and conduct daily classes, using interactive methods to boost student participation. Prepare and grade assignments, homework, and continuous evaluation (CET) papers to assess understanding and progress.
Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated to explore social studies concepts. Collaborate with the principal and teachers to implement school policies and academic programs effectively.
Assist in organizing school events, cultural activities, and field trips related to social science themes. Ensure all teaching materials, textbooks, and resources are well-organized and accessible for students.
Teach students about civic duties, ethical values, and social responsibility through practical examples and discussions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience in Social Science preferred but not mandatory.
Salary offered is Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month. Full-time employment with Sgd Modern School, Nirsa, Dhanbad.
