PRT Social Science Teacher Position at A Gs Public School Sholoora, Kralpora

Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the curriculum for Classes I to V. Teach key topics like Indian history, world geography, and basic civics, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts through visual aids, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to address student needs, provide feedback, and support their academic growth. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher interactions to foster a holistic development of students.
Ensure compliance with school policies, maintain accurate records of student progress, and assist in organizing field trips or educational visits relevant to Social Science. Stay updated on educational trends and curriculum updates to continuously improve teaching methods.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the NCTE guidelines. Possession of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is highly preferred but not mandatory. A graduate degree in Social Science or related fields will be an added advantage.
Experience
Three years of teaching experience, preferably in a primary school setting, is required. Experience in teaching Social Science to students in Classes I to V is a significant plus. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques is essential for this role.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will be offered a full-time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000. The school provides a conducive working environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
