The reality of this role
Burnpur Riverside School needs a TGT Physics Teacher to manage daily class activities in Jamuria. You will conduct lessons, prepare lab experiments, and assess student progress. The job involves coordinating with senior teachers and attending school meetings.
What you will actually do
1. Deliver engaging Physics lessons for classes VIII to X.
2. Design and supervise practical experiments using the school lab.
3. Prepare and mark assignments, quizzes, and term papers.
4. Update lesson plans and maintain student attendance records.
5. Participate in curriculum review meetings with the senior faculty.
6. Assist in organising school science fairs and inter‑school competitions.
7. Provide individual guidance to students needing extra help.
8. Maintain classroom discipline and a safe learning environment.
Who can do this job
Post‑graduate in Physics or related field, B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory. Two years of teaching experience required. TET/CTET preferred but not essential.

Strong grasp of Physics concepts and practical skills. Good communication and classroom management abilities. A positive, patient attitude towards students and willingness to collaborate with peers.
