Job Description
Physical Education Teacher Job in Dehradun, Uttarakhand – Sneha Doon Academy is looking for a dynamic professional to lead its sports and wellness programmes. The role involves managing facilities, organising events and fostering a healthy culture for students in Dehradun.
1. Oversee daily operations of the school’s sports complex, ensuring equipment safety and maintenance.
2. Design and implement a comprehensive physical activity schedule aligned with school goals.
3. Coordinate inter‑school competitions, liaise with external coaches and manage participation logistics.
4. Monitor student fitness records, assess progress and recommend personalised improvement plans.
5. Supervise and mentor support staff, conduct regular training and performance reviews.
6. Prepare annual budgets for sports equipment, uniforms and related expenses, ensuring cost‑effectiveness.
7. Collaborate with senior management to integrate physical wellness into the overall curriculum strategy.
8. Ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies regarding health, safety and sports conduct.
The candidate should hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and possess at least two years of experience in school‑level sports administration; TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
The offered salary is Rs.14,000 - Rs.30,000 per month.
