Core responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons on Indian Constitution, political theories, and global governance to classes IX to XII. Design formative and summative assessments that test analytical and writing skills in Political Science. Prepare students for board examinations with focused revision modules and past-paper discussions. Integrate current affairs from The Tribune and other regional dailies into classroom discussions. Organize guest lectures by local politicians, civil servants, and activists to provide practical exposure. Maintain accurate attendance, assessment records, and portfolios as per school policy. Collaborate with the social science team to plan inter-house quizzes and exhibitions. Participate in PTMs and parent counselling sessions to explain student progress in Political Science.
What you bring to the table
A postgraduate degree in Political Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Three years of full-time teaching experience in Political Science at the senior secondary level.
