PRT Music Teacher Position at St. Marys School in Dahod
St. Marys School in Dahod seeks a dedicated PRT Music Teacher to inspire young minds with the joy of music. This full-time role involves teaching foundational music concepts, fostering creativity, and nurturing students’ passion for performing arts in a vibrant school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily music classes covering singing, instruments, and basic music theory for students.
2. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with school curriculum standards and student interests.
3. Organize school music events, performances, and extracurricular activities to boost participation.
4. Assess student progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
6. Maintain classroom discipline while ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
7. Prepare students for school-level music competitions and exhibitions.
8. Keep records of attendance, grades, and student achievements for administrative review.
To qualify, a graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential. While prior teaching experience is preferred, a strong foundation in music education and passion for nurturing young talent are equally valued. A TET or CTET certificate is beneficial but not mandatory.
This role offers a competitive salary of Rs.13,000 to Rs.23,000 per month, with Dahod, Gujarat, as the location.
