Responsibilities
Teach Biology to students in classes 11 and 12 at St. Marys School, ensuring alignment with the Gujarat State Board curriculum. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating practical experiments and field studies where applicable.
Prepare and evaluate student assessments, including practical exams and theoretical tests, to measure understanding and progress. Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Engage with students through interactive discussions, group activities, and hands-on experiments to foster a deeper appreciation for biological concepts. Collaborate with the senior faculty to integrate biology with other subjects like chemistry and physics when relevant.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for the post.
Two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and classroom management is essential.
