Responsibilities
Teach Zoology at the senior secondary level, covering topics like animal physiology, ecology, and biodiversity. Prepare and deliver engaging classroom lessons tailored to the curriculum, ensuring students grasp complex concepts through practical demonstrations and interactive sessions.
Design and conduct lab activities, including dissections and field studies, to reinforce theoretical knowledge. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation in line with school policies.
Collaborate with the science faculty to integrate interdisciplinary learning, ensuring a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum for students.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required.
Experience in teaching Zoology to students in a school environment is essential. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, relevant teaching certifications can be beneficial.
