Daily Responsibilities of an NTT Mathematics Teacher at Delhi Public School, Panipat Refinery Campus
Teaching Grade 6 to 8 students in Mathematics through interactive lessons, problem-solving activities, and real-world applications to build conceptual clarity.
This role involves designing and delivering engaging classroom sessions that blend theoretical concepts with practical examples. The curriculum focuses on algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic calculus, ensuring students grasp foundational skills while preparing them for higher mathematics.
Daily lessons include explaining theorems, solving numerical problems, and using visual aids like diagrams and graphs. Hands-on activities, such as group projects and experiments, help reinforce learning through active participation.
Assessment tasks include weekly homework assignments, mid-term quizzes, and periodic tests to evaluate understanding. Feedback is provided through one-on-one discussions and class observations to address gaps effectively.
The teacher must prepare lesson plans aligning with the CBSE syllabus, ensuring progression in difficulty while maintaining student interest. Attendance and punctuality are mandatory, as is maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
A graduate with at least two years of teaching experience is required. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is essential. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
