Job Description
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for PGT classes, incorporating vocal, instrumental, and theoretical components. Conduct regular practice sessions, choir rehearsals, and school performances, ensuring students develop confidence and skill. Assess student progress through practical exams, projects, and performances, providing constructive feedback. Organize cultural events, music competitions, and workshops to enrich the school’s artistic environment. Maintain classroom discipline and manage musical equipment responsibly.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Music or related discipline along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Candidates should possess a valid TET/CTET certification, though it is not mandatory, and demonstrate strong knowledge of Indian and Western music traditions.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling senior classes and coordinating extracurricular music activities. Experience in preparing students for examinations and organizing school concerts is highly valued.
Salary
Rs.38,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
