Job Description
Teaching English language and literature to Grade 10 students at Royal Oak International School in Gurugram.
This role involves designing and delivering engaging English lessons that align with the school’s curriculum while fostering critical thinking and communication skills. You will work closely with students to develop their vocabulary, grammar, and writing abilities through interactive classes, group discussions, and practical exercises.
Your daily tasks include planning lesson plans that incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities. You’ll also create and assess short-term projects, such as essays, poetry, or presentations, to evaluate students’ progress. Collaborating with the English department will ensure consistency in teaching methods and curriculum updates.
Assessment duties include grading assignments, conducting periodic tests, and providing constructive feedback to help students improve. You’ll prepare students for board exams by offering additional practice and review sessions tailored to their needs.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in English or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in English or a similar subject, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career advancement.
