PRT (Pupil Teacher) Position for EVS in Faridabad
Delhi Scholars International School in Faridabad seeks a dedicated PRT to teach Environmental Studies (EVS) to young learners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping young minds with hands-on, nature-based learning experiences.
The PRT for EVS will design engaging lesson plans that blend theory with practical activities like gardening, waste management, and community projects. You’ll lead field trips to local parks, farms, or recycling centers, ensuring students connect classroom knowledge with real-world impact. Classroom management will include organizing group discussions, experiments, and project-based assessments aligned with school curriculum standards. Collaboration with other teachers and school staff will be key to integrating EVS into broader educational goals. Your role will also involve mentoring students on environmental ethics, sustainability practices, and eco-friendly technologies. Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment while adapting teaching methods for diverse student needs is essential.
To qualify, a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or environmental education, is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an advantage. Your ability to inspire curiosity about nature and environmental stewardship will be vital for this role.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international school setting in Faridabad, Haryana.
