PRT Dance Teacher Role at The Mindcraft School in Surat
Teaching dance classes to students in The Mindcraft School’s vibrant arts program is the core daily responsibility of this PRT position. You’ll guide students through structured dance techniques, fostering creativity while ensuring proper form and discipline. The role blends hands-on instruction with engaging group activities to build confidence and movement skills.
This position involves delivering dance lessons across different grades, adapting methods to match students’ skill levels. You’ll teach fundamental steps, choreography, and cultural dance forms, often working with mixed-age groups. The curriculum aligns with school arts standards, so lesson planning must be both creative and structured.
Assessment comes naturally in this role—observing students’ progress during practice sessions and small group exercises. You’ll adjust teaching methods based on performance feedback, ensuring every student feels motivated and capable. Feedback sessions with parents are also part of the routine to share growth and set next steps.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience in dance or related arts. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory, prior experience in school settings is preferred. The role offers a monthly salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and performance.
