Reporting and scope
Reports to the Head of Secondary Education.
Core duties
Curriculum delivery: Plan and conduct lessons aligned with the state syllabus, using diverse teaching aids to explain micro and macroeconomic concepts.
Assessment and feedback: Design formative and summative assessments, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Classroom management: Create a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging critical thinking and discussion.
Student support: Identify learning gaps, offer remedial support, and collaborate with peers to enhance instructional strategies.
Professional development: Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on pedagogical best practices.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related field.
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary level.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Compensation and location
Full‑time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000.
