Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and execute the school’s sports calendar, including inter‑school competitions and annual sports day.
- Supervise and maintain sports equipment, grounds and related infrastructure ensuring safety standards.
- Lead a team of assistants and coaches, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Organize training sessions, fitness programs and wellness initiatives for students of various ages.
- Monitor participation levels, track progress and prepare reports for the school administration.
- Liaise with external sports bodies, clubs and vendors for events, sponsorships and procurement.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents and staff.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventories and schedules efficiently.
- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and contemporary coaching methods.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record‑keeping and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
The candidate must be a graduate and possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. A minimum of two years’ experience in managing school sports programs or related administrative roles is essential.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
