Job Description
PGT Physical Education Teacher – Delhi English Academy, Dwarka, South West Delhi
The school is looking for a full‑time PGT Physical Education Teacher to conduct classes for senior secondary students at Delhi English Academy in Dwarka, South West Delhi. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing the Physical Education curriculum for classes IX to XII.
Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with the NCERT syllabus, conducting practical sessions and sports activities, evaluating student performance through tests and projects, and maintaining equipment and safety standards. The teacher will also mentor students for inter‑school competitions and collaborate with other faculty for holistic development programs.
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of two years teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory.
