PGT Economics Teacher Job in South West Delhi
This role is for a dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Economics to join Delhi English Academy in Dwarka, South West Delhi. You will be responsible for teaching Economics to high school students, ensuring engaging and conceptually sound lessons aligned with the latest curriculum standards.
You will prepare detailed lesson plans, conduct interactive sessions, and assess student performance through practical assignments, projects, and exams. Your role includes mentoring students, encouraging critical thinking, and fostering an interest in macroeconomic and microeconomic principles.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Economics along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be highly valued for classroom credibility.
A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in Economics or a related subject, is essential. Experience in designing curriculum-based assessments and working with diverse student groups will be beneficial.
The salary for this full-time position is Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, with potential for incremental raises based on performance and institutional growth.
