PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Jain Public School, Korba
Teaching Social Science to students in classes VI to VIII at Jain Public School in Korba. This role focuses on engaging young learners with history, geography, civics, and economics through interactive and age-appropriate methods.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring clarity and relevance to students’ academic growth. Use visual aids, discussions, and real-world examples to make complex concepts accessible and interesting.
Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, including weekly tests, projects, and observations. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and critical thinking skills.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn. Collaborate with teachers in other subjects to foster interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, discipline, and classroom management. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to strengthen the school community.
Hold a graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this position.
Three years of teaching experience, preferably in Social Science or a related subject, is required. Experience in working with students aged 11 to 14 is highly beneficial.
