Location and Institution
Rungta Public School | Bhilai is looking for a PGT History teacher to join the faculty in Durg, Chhattisgarh. The role is full‑time and based in the school’s Durg campus.
Role and Responsibilities
Teach History to classes 9 to 12, designing lesson plans that align with the state curriculum. Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, manage classroom discussions, and assess student progress through assignments and examinations. Mentor students in research projects and guide them in developing critical thinking skills. Coordinate with the school’s history department to update teaching materials and participate in curriculum development workshops.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in History or a related field. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the PGT level. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to use modern teaching aids and digital resources in the classroom.
Salary
Compensation ranges from Rs.38,000 to Rs.65,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
