Maintain organized classroom materials, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital resources for effective teaching.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, and projects to track understanding and growth. Collaborate with the mathematics department to share teaching strategies and best practices. Participate in school-wide academic events, competitions, and workshops to enhance curriculum relevance. Ensure compliance with the school’s policies on attendance, discipline, and subject-specific guidelines.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct term-end evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students on their mathematical skills. Attend periodic faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and teaching methodologies. Organize supplementary study sessions or workshops for students struggling with advanced topics to provide additional support.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics. Possess a TET/CTET certificate as preferred but not mandatory. Minimum four years of teaching experience, preferably in secondary education. Strong command of the English language for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
